Just got my Jordana order today so I thought I would share what I purchased! I spent a total of $23.91 on nine items and this included free shipping. I originally ordered a tenth item which I did not receive but also was not charged for. I'm not entirely sure why this item wasn't shipped to me, but like I said, I was never charged so I'm not too heartbroken over this. I also noticed that one of the nail polishes I got had some nail polish on the outside of the bottle. It wasn't like the nail polish spilled, and there wasn't any missing from the bottle, so I'm assuming another polish spilled onto the bottle that I got.
My initial reason for making a purchase with Jordana was because I found an old nail polish by them that I absolutely love and was curious to see what kind of nail polishes they have now. Because of this, I bought five glitter polishes that I am VERY excited to try out. I swatched them on a plain white piece of paper, and the glitters showed up very well. The best thing about these polishes is the price!!! They were $2.99 each for 0.5 fl oz (15 mL). The colors I ended up getting were: 07 Confetti, 17 Copper Blaze, 19 My Superstar, 21 Funky Gold Town, and 22 Galaxy. Instead of describing each polish individually, I'm going to refer you to my haul photo album where you can find pictures and judge for yourselves.
The second half of my purchase consisted of makeup products I was curious about. First off, the only eye primer I own is by Urban Decay, so I've been looking for a cheaper dupe. For this reason, I picked up their only eye primer (01) for $1.99 and am anxious to see how it compares to the more expensive brand. Because I loved the Revlon creme shadows so much, I was curious to try another brand. I ended up with one of Jordana's Sparkling Creme Eyshadows in Gold Gleam Eye Glitz (07) for $1.99. Next I purchased a loose eyeshadow because I am very unfamiliar with that particular type of product. I figure the best way to learn how to use a product is to buy a cheaper one so if you mess up and have to redo your look again and again, you aren't too upset about using up a lot of product. For $1.99 I got Go 4 Gold (12). Lastly, I picked up another product I am not yet familiar with, a creme bronzer/blusher. For $2.99 I got Jordana's Color Tint Blush Stick in Bronze Glow (06).
I've never been good at keeping a journal, but I've always wanted to. I hope you enjoy my sporadic posts about beauty, fitness/health, and various other topics.
